Now that we have been back for a week and had a chance to settle down in our daily routine, I just wanted to send you a note to thank you for the perfect organization for our trip. Everything went without problem, all reservations were met, we even got upgraded in Hanoi , all tour guides were punctual and professional . Though their command of English was of varying degrees of fluency, they all tried hard and were courteous, friendly and helpful.

As a feedback, one of the highlights was the Ginger junk boat in HaLong Bay. Thank you for recommending it. The accommodations, staff friendliness and efficiency, food quality and quantity, visit programs ashore...were all beyond expectations.
For hotels, the Renaissance Riverside in Saigon was our favourite, followed by the Hanoi Opera Hilton . Great facilities, staff and location.
The Dalat Sofitel is romantic and beautiful, the Residence in Hue is nice but a bit out of the way for walking convenience .. Bottom of our list was the Victoria in Hoi An, which had too much of a feel of foreign tourists' trade, and potentially extortion. Staff is unfriendly, prices are high for everything in this hotel far away from town and which takes advantage of your being captive of their services.
In Nhatrang, the Sunrise is trying hard, but the lack of a decent beach, an inconvenient location and a lack of atmosphere made the stay a bit strange and depressing.

Sorry we did not meet you in person. You will remain the mysterious face behind emails and phone calls...but thank you again for a fantastic trip. I will undoubtedly direct friends to use your services.

Accommodation: Exceptionally professional and friendly service. Extremely well organized on every short notice. Superb accommodation - Absolute luxury the whole way. Felt like a King and A Queen.

Transportation & drivers: highly skilled drivers and all very friendly also willing to patiently stop and allow us to take photographs along the way. highly appreciative of the air conditioned vehicles.

Suggestions: It would have been advantageous to know many different tour guides/drivers we would meet so that we could have brought them some South African souvenirs.

General comments: Loved having a tour guide who was so knowledgeable about the specific areas we visited. Also helped us to spot good opportunities for photographs was not instructive in any way and always on call 24/7. Very friendly, humorous ad pleasant made our experience and 1st trip to Vietnam an absolute pleasure - Definitely will return and use Luxury & Leisure Travel.

Thank you for arranging for a suite for the second night! - that was a great surprise. We also had a compartment to ourselves on the train back, so perhaps you arranged that too! Thank you to Amy for coming to the hotel with us. She is very efficient, professional, and lovely. Our guide Son was the best guide we had on our whole trip - very knowledgeable, interesting, and funny. They are both excellent ambassadors for Vietnam. All the hotels were perfect and the staffs of theses hotels were very friendly. I may add that was probably one of ours best vacation....and we travel a lot. I don't know if we will one day be back in Asia, but we will keep a very nice souvenir of this trip.
The guides: I have already gave ours impressions on all of them except the one in Saigon and Mekong Delta. This guide was very professional and probably the best one of this trip and the one in China last year.
